On June 11, 2024 the Bank of Montreal (BMO) and Eurasia Group hosted the second annual US-Canada Summit in Toronto. Guests included Governor JB Pritzker, Doug Ford (Premier of Ontario), François-Philippe Champagne (Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry), and US Senator Chris Coons.
I lead out on digital communications strategy for this event, including creating content ahead of, during, and after the summit for Eurasia Group’s social media channels, During the event, the US-Canada Summit was trending in Politics on X. The video clips of keynote speakers Ian Bremmer and Mark Carney have over 150K impressions on X.
2023 US-Canada Summit
On April 4, 2023, the Bank of Montreal (BMO) and Eurasia Group hosted the inaugural US-Canada Summit in Toronto. Guests included Prime Minister Trudeau, François-Philippe Champagne (Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry), and US Senator Chris Coons.
I assisted with media strategy and promotion, including live tweeting the event from Eurasia Group’s social media channels, with the thread receiving over 200K organic impressions. The event hashtag, #USCanadaSummit, was trending on Twitter in Canada throughout the afternoon of the event.
